When all is said and done

9:13 p.m. Today's project was to wrap up this last day of the Mary Kay Seminar year, with more sales, an order placed to help our unit goal, and to spend the day praying for my friend Cara, who as of an hour ago, needed one more active member to complete her Shining Lights unit!

In 45 minutes we will know if the Lord did for her what He promised, and led her to that one team member who needed to be activated with an initial order, who would choose to be obedient to a higher goal for His glory! Many other reports will come in from our national area of new directors, Red Jackets like myself, personal goals met and surpassed. In my case, I regained my Red Jacket status, encouraged my team members, and had many sales and new customers the last two days! (That despite a very rough day today with Steve, who for some reason was extremely confused and uncoordinated today). To God alone be the glory!

We will enjoy a victory call from our National Director at 10 p.m.--did we make #1 in the Emerald Seminar? This devout Christian woman, Kathy Helou, inspires us with her gracious example no matter what position she finds herself in!

As we aspire to be more fully useful women of God, I think of Proverbs 31:29-31,

Many daughters have done well,
But you exceed them all.
Charm is deceitful and beauty is
  passing,
But a woman who fears the LORD,
  she shall be praised.
Give her of the fruit of her hands,
And let her own works praise her
  in the gates.
